    Anyone can contract meningitis C (MenC), but particularly ‘at risk’ include those with impaired immune systems and the very young or very old.504578

    Children are offered vaccinations against key diseases including MenC, this vaccination is also available to adults under 25 years old and individuals outside this age range who may be at increased risk from MenC disease.578
