    Who is at risk?

    Anyone can contract meningitis C (MenC), but particularly ‘at risk’ include those with impaired immune systems and the very young or very old.504578

    Use the tool below to identify matching risk profiles by simply choosing the image that most closely reflects your age or that of a friend or family member. The information provided is based on immunisation guidelines from the Department of Health.578

    Children are offered vaccinations against key diseases including MenC, this vaccination is also available to adults under 25 years old and individuals outside this age range who may be at increased risk from MenC disease.578
