Meningitec (Meningococcal serogroup C oligosaccharide conjugate vaccine, adsorbed) is licensed for the prevention of invasive disease caused by Neisseria meningitidis serogroup C (MenC).

The bacteria can cause serious and sometimes life-threatening infections such as meningitis and septicaemia.

In the UK Meningitec is not currently part of the National Immunisation Programme. Alternative meningococcal C vaccines are being used.
