Meningitec product information

Meningitec (Meningococcal serogroup C oligosaccharide conjugate vaccine (adsorbed)) is supplied as a suspension for injection in a pre-filled syringe.

Each 0.5ml dose of Meningitec contains

10µg of Neisseria meningitidis (strain C11) serogroup C oligosaccharide conjugated to a CRM197 carrier protein adsorbed on aluminium phosphate

Meningitec should be administered intramuscularly.

Meningitec should under no circumstances be administered intravenously.
